Maiden voyage of my project boat that I had worked on for a solid year. My wife, oldest daughter Olivia (in picture) and I set out on the "Carrolina Rose" for some leisurely cruising & fishing.
The wind was up a bit, so we pulled into a nearby cove to weigh anchor & fish for awhile. I always require a PFD while on the water, especially when fishing under windy conditions.
As the picture indicates, a PFD had no affect on Olivia's ability to hook the only fish that afternoon. First fish caught from the "Carrolina Rose", on it's first voyage, by my first daughter... doesn't get any better than that.
