Ryan is 10 years old. He was on vacation with his grandparents on a trip to Alaska. While on this vacation, his grandparents took him out on a Halibut Charter fishing trip. The boat was named the Sizzler out of Homer, Alaska. Ryan had 3 fish on his line before he pulled up the first one;  he was so excited. One of his fish weighed 23 pounds and the other was 25 pounds. Ryan had only done lake fishing before this and was very proud of these two huge fish.

Ryan traveled 8, 450 miles on this trip to Alaska and he said the fishing trip was the best of all the things he had seen or done. He had brought his own life jacket from home for this trip.
