Fishing Location: Piseco Lake, NY (Adirondack Mountains)

My sons, Joshua and Matthew, are the fourth generation in my family to enjoy fishing in the Adirondack Mountain lakes.

Boating safety and respect for nature was taught by my grandfather to my dad who then taught me. And now my dad is teaching my sons that the first step to having fun in a boat on the water is to always wear your life jacket.

This photograph is of my dad, Bernard Trumpowsky, and my sons Matthew and Joshua (holding the bass) after their fishing  trip. This was Joshua's first big catch.

Many years and many fishing trips have passed since this photo was taken, as Joshua is now sixteen years old, but he still remembers this fishing adventure with the same excitement as he did on that beautiful summer's day on Piseco Lake. This first catch will always be a special memory shared with grandpa and Matthew.
