This striper was caught on a fly rod. We were fishing on the Sacramento River and started to get into the stripers real good. We probably landed 50 stripers between the two of us. There were three other boats (all using conventional gear and bait) in the same area as us and we only saw them catch one fish. This was one of the last fish in the evening and was also tagged with a $50.00 reward tag.
