Fish: Largemouth Bass Tackle Used: A Batman road and reel plus 1/4 inch of night crawler. Yes, that's right a Batman rod and reel. My 4 year old son Matthew was fishing for Bluegill about 2 feet off the side of the canal when this monster decided he had an easy meal. I think he might have been going after a Bluegill my son had hooked. Matt hollered "Dad I really have a big one!" Little did he know he caught what could be the fish of a lifetime. I have been fishing since I was a kid and never caught one like this! My son requested that we let him go.  The fish was safely unhooked, photos quickly taken, and released un harmed back into the lake. We hope to see him again next vacation.
