ANGLER Boat Saver Policy - Actual Cash Value* Coverage, an economic option providing less coverage for your boat and equipment at a lower premium

IMPORTANT NOTE: The ANGLER Boat Saver Policy is a "no-frills" actual cash value insurance policy. Some of the savings on your premium comes from the depreciation of ALL losses. Simply put, your premium will be considerably lower, but you are subject to more out of pocket expense to repair or replace your boat in the event of a loss with this policy. Weigh your potential out of pocket expenses against your premium savings as you look at this and the ANGLER’s Best (Agreed Value) policy option to determine what’s best for your boat and situation.

Fishing in Mexico? You need Liability Coverage  - Mexican law requires all boaters to provide proof of liability insurance from a local provider.

All boats are required, under Mexican Law, to have liability insurance issued through a Mexican Insurance Company. Without it, you could face serious consequences including fines, impoundment and/or imprisonment. For more information, click here.


All BoatUS Policies Include

24-Hour Immediate Dispatch - our expert claims staff is standing by seven days a week to help policyholders through boating emergencies, including sinking, salvage, fuel spill containment and pollution clean-up.

$25K Supplemeental Family Medical payments – In addition to the medical coverage you select with your policy, this additional $25,000 covers injuries for each family member to help ensure that your family does not have any large out-of-pocket expenses if they are injured onboard.

Additional $800,000 Fuel Spill Liability – this additional liability covers unintentional discharge of oil or fuel that can occur in a sinking, fire, collision, grounding, etc. This "green coverage" is important now that federal and state lasws subject boaters to liability for cleanup, containment, and environmental damage. This coverage is provided in addition to the policy's normal liability coverage.

Full Salvage Assistance - covers you for the full cost of salvage, without a deductible, up to the insured value of your boat.

Uninsured Boater Protection – Additional medical coverage for your injuries caused bya collision if  a hit-and-run or uninsured boater is at fault. Amount is equal to the liability amount on the policy.

Liability for Dock Contracts – If you signed a contract to store your boat at a marina, this coverage is for any legal liability it requires you to assume as a result of property damage or injuries to your guests while on the marina's property.

Hurricane Haul-out Coverage – up to 50% or $1,000 in reimbursement for professional hauling and/or preparation in the event of a NOAA Named Storm in your area. (ex. PWC).
